In A Nutshell

A classic Victorian style parlour game - a cross between charades and 'who's in the bag'. You draw out 40 cards - forty names - from the pack to play with for that session, and then split up into as many teams as you want. Each team then gets 30 seconds on the timer to get through the 40 cards and guess as many names as possible. One team member gives the clues and the others shout out guesses. When the timer runs out, the cards remaining are passed to the next team for them to have a go. When all the cards have been guessed correctly, you shuffle them together and move onto round two. Tot up the score to see which team is in the lead.

Obviously when describing the person on the card you can be as creative as you like, as long as you don't mention their name. In round two, you are only allowed to use one word to describe the famous person on the card, and in round three you can't use any words at all - just mime! A great game for rowdy parties, best played with at least 6 people. (Yes, we did specially ask for this edition for the UK, because we enjoy it so much). Another winner of the Mensa Select award.
